At Simply Perfect Schnauzers, we take great pride in raising healthy, happy, well-adjusted puppies — and finding them the right homes is just as important as raising them right. Here’s how the adoption process works.
Puppy Application
The first step is to fill out a Puppy Application. This helps me learn more about you, your lifestyle, and what kind of puppy would be the best fit for your family.
Approval & Waitlist
Once approved, you’ll be added to my waitlist or matched with available puppies. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot or secure a specific puppy. This goes toward the total price of your puppy.
Matching
If you’re on the waitlist, I’ll reach out once a litter is born that matches your preferences. I do my best to match families with the right temperament, size, and personality based on your application and lifestyle.
Puppy Updates
Throughout the 8 weeks, you’ll receive updates, photos, and videos so you can watch your puppy grow and experience milestones — including ENS/ESI training, vet visits, and first grooms.
Go Home Day
Puppies go home around 8–9 weeks of age. By this time, they’ve been started on potty training, socialized in a home setting, vet checked, microchipped, and vaccinated. I also provide a complete puppy starter pack and access to their recommended pawTree nutrition.
Final Payment
Final payment is due by the time your puppy is 8 weeks old or at least 1 week before your scheduled pickup date.
Lifetime Support
Your journey doesn’t end on pickup day! I offer ongoing guidance, nutrition support, and training tips. I’m just a message away if you need help throughout your dog’s life.
